Characteristics of biome are clearly and thoroughly described:
The desert is very hot and dry, it doesnt rain very much at all in the desert. As little as 1 inch all year!! It is very hard for plants to survive in the extreme weather an heat of the desert.

pronghorn:can run up to 97km per hour helping it escape its prreditors
common carnivores:
cyote:varried diet a lot of food sources
serval (small cheetah):climb trees and dig into burows to prey on small animals and eggs
desert scorpion:oiften ambush its prey

ground squirrl:deep sleep during hottest times of the year
kangaroo rat:four lined paches inside of mouth for carring food
long eared jerboa:long back legs help it jump
